Sporadic Ham Radio Club

The Sporadic Ham Radio Club consists of a small group of FCC licensed Radio Amateurs who share an interest in radio contesting, DX-ing, LEO satellites, morse code and electronic experimentation. The club was formed June of 2000. We selected the name Sporadic Ham Radio Club because it seemed to fit our activity pattern. We are all very busy with our families, work and other organizations and hobbies. But when the bug bites, we're there to try to win a contest, work a rare DX station, or chew the rag with an old friend.
Our original callsign was KC2GMU which we used for the 2000 ARRL Field Day contest. We were able to apply for a "Vanity Call" and received K2FA. This has been active in several contests and Jamboree-On-The-Air which is a Scouting / Ham Radio activity.
Look around our web-site and be sure to sign the guest book. If you'd like more information about us or ham radio in general, email us at info@k2fa.org
