On Saturday March 23, 2002 the Sporadic Ham Radio Club held an historic meeting, the first official meeting since the clubs inception. In attendance were the officers of the club, W2HQ, KA2KQP, KF2U and KB2ZHX.
Scheduled as a breakfast meeting at a popular Mediterranean style restaurant, those in attendance at the scheduled time enjoyed a robust selection of delicacies from the menu. In a surprise occurrence, KB2ZHX arrived at the end of the meal portion of the gathering, just in time to partake of coffee and official club business. Prior to the start of the meeting a variety of generic topics, ranging from motorcycles and hockey rinks to antennas and satellites were discussed. A fine time was had by all.
